SSC Ultimate Aero

SSC Ultimate Aero is an American supercar with a mid-engined and designed by Shelby SuperCars. He has more powerful and highly limited edition, called the SSC Ultimate Aero TT, it is even more hardcore than the standard specification. The model achieves a maximum speed of 411 km / h, it was recorded during tests on September 13, 2007 in Richland, Washington, Washington. Subsequently they have been verified by the Guinness Book of, so everything is official. Specific element here is that no real Ultiamate Aero relies on any electronic aides such as ABS brakes and traction control.
Aero and Shelby SuperCars are "offspring" of Dzherad Shelby (which has nothing to do with the popular Carroll Shelby automobile design). Originally Dzherad began to make duplicates of supercars, including Ferrari F355 and Lamborghini Diablo. Diablo project has been developed, however, since the platform was subsequently used for the development of SSC Ultimate Aero. As became clear later enterprising American refusing the creation of lines and began to develop its first own supercar. Only after seven years, the project began to yield form. And although the base model Aero no longer being manufactured, Ultimate Aero, it continues to be offered at a price of around 650,000 dollars.

Prototype SSC Ultimate Aero SC/8T # 001 e precisely constructed chassis through duplicate Lamborghini Diablo, it is equipped with twin-turbocharged engine borrowed from the Corvette C5R. The engine in base model V8 with Aero is a compressor, again borrowed from the Chevrolet. It provides power of 1062 hp (More famous Bugatti Veyron) at 6600 rpm and torque of 1357 Nm at 5800 rpm. Ultimate Aero receives an engine capacity of 6.34 liters, and in addition has increased the pressure. As a result, power jumps to 1147 hp at 6950 rpm and torque - at 1113 Nm at 6200 rpm.
Air tests in specially designed tunnel show that the Ultimate Aero can in theory accelerate to 439 km / h - but in ideal settings of the transmission.
